GUEST INFORMATION

Upon arrival, please follow the signs near the Clubhouse to the
"Bag Drop" area in front of the Golf Shop. A Club employee
will assist you with your golf bag and direct you to parking and
the locker facilities. All guests are encouraged to use the Club
locker rooms to change their shoes and/or clothing.

Golf

All golfers will be accompanied by a caddie. Golf carts must remain
on the paths at all times unless previous arrangements have been
made for health reasons. Please notify your host prior to your arrival
if such arrangements are necessary. The use of metal spikes on the
golf course is prohibited.

Proper Dress

  • Golf attire is permitted in the entire Clubhouse until 6:30 p.m.
    After 6:30 p.m. jackets and ties, and appropriate dinner attire for women,
    must be worn in the formal areas of the Clubhouse, which include the Carroll
    Dining Room and Porch, the Gallery Dining Room, the Library and the
    Clubhouse Terrace. Golf attire is permitted in the informal areas,
    the Grille Lounge, the Grille, the Grille Porch and the Putting Green
    Terrace, at all times. All golfers should remove their hats while inside
    the Clubhouse and under the Club porches.

  • Male golfers are required to wear shirts with collars at all times.
    Shorts, Bermuda-length only, and slacks are permitted throughout the season.

    Women golfers may wear slacks, Bermuda length shorts, skirts or culottes
    at all times. Skirts and culottes shorter than 2” above the knee are not
    permitted. Women’s shirts must have a collar or sleeves. Jeans are not
    acceptable attire on the grounds of the Club.

  • Members are encouraged to wear their member jackets at Club and
    golf events. Member jackets may be taken from the Club in order to be
    worn at outside tournaments or events at which the Member is representing
    Caves Valley.

Purchases/Tipping

All charges incurred are billed to the hosting Member. Guests are
permitted to purchase merchandise in the Golf Shop via cash and credit card.
Guests may pay caddie fees via credit card only. No cash gratuity shall be
given to any employee of the Club, including caddies.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is permitted only on the golf course or on open grass areas.
Smoking is only permitted on the Clubhouse patios and terraces at the
conclusion of dinner service with prior approval of the manager on duty.
Smoking is not permitted in the Clubhouse, overnight rooms, the outside
dining terraces or any other Club building. Members are responsible for
ensuring that their guests comply with this policy.

Cell Phone Policy

The use of cell phones is prohibited except in automobiles, locker rooms
and private rooms. Members are expected to ensure that their guests comply
with this policy.

Children

Children are permitted to play golf and take lessons in the Learning Center.
Children who play golf with a Member or take a golf lesson are permitted
to have breakfast or lunch in the Clubhouse and stay overnight. However,
children under 16 years of age are not permitted in the Clubhouse during
the evening hours without prior approval from the General Manager.

Overnight Guests

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 10:00 a.m. If playing golf the day of check-out, luggage should be packed after breakfast and the Clubhouse staff will store the luggage in the Club coat room or the Locker Room.
