| | A straight away 568-yard par 5 provides a birdie opportunity early in the round. There is no tolerance for a right-handed slice with water that runs down the right side of the hole. The bunkers have been designed so that a tee shot must be short of the penalty area or the longest of hitters will have a narrow window to negotiate the bunkers up the left and right side of the fairway landing area. A safe second shot is played to the middle of the fairway, leaving a short approach to a green guarded by a deep bunker and water tucked in on the right. The green is large and beware of a right pin location which may push balls into the water. |
